Your business on Kish Directory

The directory was built from public records of the island, so a place is listed because it exists, not because it signed up. Most entries have never been touched by the person who runs the place.

There is no paid placement, no featured slot and no advertising position in this directory. Listings are ordered by how complete and how current they are, which is the only thing anybody here can influence - by filling one in.

Once a listing is confirmed as yours, changes you send are made by an editor and the record carries the mark that says the details came from the business itself.

Search the directory for its name. At the foot of its page is a link reading «این کسب‌وکار شماست؟» - "Is this your business?". It asks for your name, a telephone number we can call back on, and what needs changing.

Somebody telephones the number to confirm you are who you say you are. Nothing is changed on the strength of the form alone, which is the same protection for you as for everybody else listed.

Write to us with the name, what the place does, where it is, and a telephone number. A place is added because it is on the island and open - there is nothing to qualify for and nothing to pay.

Searching first is worth a minute: a place is often listed under an older name, or under the name above the door rather than the registered one.
