How do I buy a ticket for the Kish ferry?
Through the port company’s own ticketing at ticket.kishports.com. The sailings listed here are the ones it has published; fares and seat counts change through the day, so the ticket office is the only place to read them.
Where does the ferry to Kish leave from?
Charak is the usual crossing. Bandar Lengeh and Aftab also appear on the schedule when they are running - this page lists whichever the port has published.
How long does the crossing take?
Between about 35 and 45 minutes from Charak in normal conditions. Rough weather lengthens it, and can stop it.
How early should I be at the terminal?
An hour before departure. Boarding closes before the sailing time shown here.
What happens if the sea is too rough?
Sailings are suspended by the port, not by this site. If a crossing matters to you, telephone the port before travelling to it - the numbers are on this page.

What does the crossing cost?
The fare is not printed here on purpose. It moves between one reading and the next, and a stale price on a page somebody plans around is worse than no price. The ticket office is the only place it is true.
Which vessel will I be on?
The port publishes the vessel with each sailing and it is shown in the table. The name is published in Persian only; the English and Arabic forms beside it are transliterated by this platform, so the Persian is the one to show at the counter.
Is the ferry or the flight better for reaching Kish?
They are different journeys rather than better and worse: the crossing from Charak is under an hour on a good day and stops in rough weather, and the airport runs to a published schedule the year round. Both are counted on this site - the flights on the airport page, the sailings here.
