Worth knowing

On the water

Most of the island’s activity happens at the shoreline — diving, parasailing, boats and jet skis — run by clubs rather than by one operator. Sea state decides what runs on a given day, and the marine readings on the conditions page are the same ones the clubs watch.

Indoors

The courts, halls and pitches are concentrated in one sports complex, which is why several entries here share a name. Each is listed separately because each is booked separately.

Where this comes from
