Car Rental Terms

To rent a car on Kish Island you must carry the original valid driving licence that has been issued at least one year prior, provide a single cheque for the amount of the car or pay in cash 100 to 150 million rials or more (depending on the type of car) as a deposit, and pay 5 million rials as a deposit for potential fines which will be returned to the customer's account after 30 days. When signing the contract a 9 percent value added tax will be added to the rental amount, the rental price for special cars is determined by agreement, and during the island's peak days rental rates will increase by 30 to 50 percent.
