According to the Public Relations and International Affairs of the Kish Free Zone Organization, Mohammad Kabiri in this meeting, held with the presence of board members of the Kish Merchants and Traders Association, referring to the important position of shopkeepers and economic actors in the vitality of the island's economy, emphasized the necessity of continued interaction and synergy between the private sector and the organization to realize Kish’s development plans.
The CEO of the Kish Free Zone Organization, stating that cooperation and solidarity among various economic bodies play an effective role in advancing the island’s development goals, said: The organization, with a facilitative approach, pursues matters related to Kish residents and economic actors and seeks to make the path of economic activity on the island smoother by utilizing the legal capacities of the free zone.
Kabiri also, stressing the review and follow-up of the issues raised in this meeting, added: Reducing executive obstacles, accelerating processes, and providing more suitable conditions for the activity of economic actors are priorities of the Kish Free Zone Organization.
He continued, referring to follow-ups carried out in the field of air transportation: Given the presence of the head of the Civil Aviation Organization in Kish, the issue of increasing the island’s flight capacity was pursued and the necessary actions are underway to issue permits to increase daily flights to Kish.
The CEO of the Kish Free Zone Organization also, referring to follow-ups on matters related to the tax, social security, banking, and customs sectors, noted: These issues are continuously pursued and we strive for economic actors to benefit from the legal capacities of free zones, including in trade and seafarer goods, in the shortest possible time.
At the end of this meeting, the board members of the Kish Merchants and Traders Association, while presenting their views and suggestions on the development of the island’s economic activities, presented a plaque of appreciation to the interactive approach of the Kish Free Zone Organization and the organization’s management’s cooperation in supporting economic actors and Kish residents.
