According to the Public Relations and International Affairs of the Kish Free Zone Organization, based on recorded statistics for the period 14 to 20 Shahrivar 1405, 63 inbound flights and 62 outbound flights were operated at Kish International Airport.
During this period, 7,556 passengers arrived on the island of Kish via inbound flights and 6,830 passengers also left the island on outbound flights, totaling 14,386 passengers moved by air.
Among the airlines active in this period, Kish Air, with 35 inbound flights and 34 outbound flights, had the largest share of flight operations at Kish International Airport.
Also, the airlines Iran Airtour, Zagros, Karun, Caspian, Sepehran, Fly Persia, Fly Kish, and Mehr participated in moving passengers to and from Kish by operating inbound and outbound flights during this period.
The increase in flight activities and passenger movements compared to last week indicates a positive trend in travel to Kish and is the result of planning and coordination carried out in the island's air transport sector; a trend whose continuation can strengthen travel flow, boost tourism, and increase Kish's economic vitality.
