The iPhone 18 Pro Max has the fastest charging system among iPhones.
According to newly released information, this Apple flagship can reach 50 percent charge from zero in just 15 minutes; a figure Apple also mentioned when introducing the device.
According to ITNA quoting GSMArena, details of the new measurements show the iPhone 18 Pro Max reaches about 34 percent charge after 10 minutes and the display shows 100 percent charge at minute 55.
However, the charging process continues for a longer period and the device stops charging completely at around minute 76.
Comparison with the iPhone 17 Pro Max shows a significant improvement for the new generation.
In the previous generation test, that phone reached only 38 percent charge after 15 minutes and its display showed 100 percent charge at minute 72. The maximum charging power of the iPhone 17 Pro Max was also about 35 watts, while the iPhone 18 Pro Max apparently can reach 52 watts.
Part of this improvement can be attributed to the larger battery of the iPhone 18 Pro Max.
The phone also uses a 2nm chip, which is expected to have greater energy efficiency. Therefore, in addition to increasing battery capacity, Apple has been able to noticeably increase charging speed compared to the previous generation.
However, the iPhone 18 Pro Max is not the fastest phone in this comparison. The Galaxy S26 Ultra reaches about 51 percent charge in 15 minutes and needs only 43 minutes to show 100 percent charge.
Of course, the Galaxy S26 Ultra's battery is smaller than the iPhone 18 Pro Max's battery, and a direct comparison of charging speeds between the two phones should be made taking battery capacity into account.
Overall, the increased charging speed is one of the important changes of the iPhone 18 Pro Max and shows that Apple has paid more attention in the new generation to one of the notable aspects of the smartphone charging experience.
