According to the Public Relations and International Affairs of the Kish Free Zone Organization, in the period from 21 to 27 Shahrivar 1405, a total of 10,446 passengers and vehicle occupants were transported by passenger vessels and landing craft on the sea route between Kish Island and the ports of Chark and Aftab; of these, 6,035 were arrivals and 4,411 were departures.
During this period, 141 trips were made by vehicle-carrying vessels (landing craft) and 2,248 vehicles were transported on this route; of these, 1,311 vehicles entered Kish Island and 937 vehicles left the island.
Also during the same period, 3,933 vehicle occupants were transported on the inbound route and 2,811 occupants on the outbound route by vehicle-carrying vessels.
In the fast passenger vessel sector, 94 sea trips were made during which 3,702 passengers were transported; of these, 2,102 were inbound passengers and 1,600 were outbound passengers.
Passenger and vehicle-carrying vessel services on the sea routes leading to Kish Island continue uninterrupted.
