The deputy speaker of parliament said: the allotment credit must be increased.
Hamidreza Hajibabaei, referring to the latest situation regarding increasing the electronic allotment credit, said: one of the fundamental problems about the allotment is that we in parliament have to explain instead of the government, whereas the government should report and explain to the people on television because lack of transparency and information leads to increased ambiguities.
Hajibabaei added: the government must honestly explain the conditions to the people, stating how much its revenues and payments are and if it has not done something, it was for such-and-such reason, but unfortunately we have a poverty of reporting and a poverty of informing the people.
The deputy speaker of parliament continued: in my view, as far as the government can it should insist on the allotment, meaning increase the allotment credit and also allocate credits for it because the allotment is the only thing that can be lifesaving in this situation and solve the problem especially for low-income groups.
According to ISNA, in response to the question of how much the parliament proposes to increase the allotment credit, he said: I do not want to state an amount for the increase in credit but the government must increase the allotment credit in proportion to its income; more precisely the government should add to the allotment credit as much as it can so that people’s livelihoods improve.
