According to the Public Relations and International Affairs of the Kish Free Zone Organization, the Arba'een Husayni mourning ceremony was held at noon on Tuesday, 13 Mordad, after the noon and afternoon prayers, with the presence of a number of Kish residents and worshippers at the Khatam al-Anbiya (PBUH) Mosque on Kish Island.
The ritual included a speech by Hojjatoleslam valmoslemin Mohammad Ebadi-zadeh, the Representative of the Supreme Leader in Hormozgan Province and Friday Prayer Leader of Bandar Abbas, and the eulogy of Alireza Moradi, a eulogist of the Ahl al-Bayt (AS).
Kish, a Showcase of Spiritual and Revolutionary Identity
Hojjatoleslam valmoslemin Ebadi-zadeh at the ceremony described the presence of Kish residents in public gatherings, occasions, processions, elections, and religious rituals as indicative of their religious, revolutionary, and spiritual spirit, and stated: part of the spiritual and social identity of Kish Island, which may have remained hidden from some views, has been introduced to the people across the country by the broad and continuous presence of Kish residents in various arenas.
The Representative of the Supreme Leader in Hormozgan Province, thanking the cooperation of Kish residents and island officials, added: this effective presence has displayed a clear image of the faith, solidarity, and sense of responsibility of the Kish community.
The Culture of Arba'een, Complementary to the Mission of Ashura
Ebadi-zadeh continued, referring to the concepts of the Arba'een visitation, calling the Ashura culture a manifestation of self-sacrifice, devotion, courage, and loyalty, and emphasized: the culture of Arba'een complements the culture of Ashura and bears the mission of explaining, transmitting, and preserving the teachings of Imam Husayn's uprising.
He noted: Imam Husayn (AS) and his loyal companions created the epic of Ashura and thereafter, Lady Zaynab al-Kubra (SA) and Imam Sajjad (AS), through enlightenment and conveying the message, completed the mission of the Husayni movement.
The Friday Prayer Leader of Bandar Abbas concluded by stressing: Ashura and Arba'een are two inseparable parts of the Husayni movement; Ashura is a symbol of sacrifice and resistance, and Arba'een preserves and transmits the message of this epic to future generations.
During the continuation of the ceremony, Alireza Moradi recited eulogies and lamentations mourning Imam Aba Abdillah al-Husayn (AS) and the martyrs of the Karbala plain, invoking sorrow.
