According to the Public Relations and International Affairs of the Kish Free Zone Organization, this ceremony was held at noon on Thursday, 22 Mordad, after the congregation Dhuhr and Asr prayers, with the enthusiastic presence of Kish residents, Mohammad Kabiri, CEO of the Kish Free Zone Organization, Hujjat al-Islam wal-Muslimin Alireza Binyaz, Friday Prayer Leader of Kish, a number of officials and worshipers. Hossein Yekta, advisor and assistant to the Head of the Central Headquarters of Rahian-e Noor, was the speaker of the ceremony and Hujjat al-Islam Hadi Mohammadpour performed eulogies and lamentations.
In this ceremony, Hossein Yekta, referring to the exalted status of Hazrat Ali ibn Musa al-Reza (a.s.) among the people of Iran, considered devotion to the Eighth Imam (a.s.) a deep-rooted bond in the religious and cultural beliefs of the people and described the widespread presence at Ahl al-Bayt (a.s.) mourning rites as a sign of the continuation of this devotion and spiritual attachment.
He stated that love for Imam Reza (a.s.) resides in the hearts of the people of Iran, counted this spiritual asset among the factors strengthening the solidarity and cohesion of society, and emphasized that the Iranian nation in critical periods, relying on faith, unity and its religious beliefs, has stood firm against hardships and threats.
Yekta, in another part of his remarks, referring to the enemies' threats against the country, stressed the necessity of maintaining vigilance, unity and the preparedness of the people and said the Iranian nation is ready to defend the security, independence and dignity of the country and will stand against any aggression and threat from the enemy.
The advisor and assistant to the Head of the Central Headquarters of Rahian-e Noor also emphasized not forgetting the actions and crimes of the enemies and the necessity of attention to the Supreme Leader's emphases about responding to the enemy and the issue of revenge, and considered the cohesion and preparedness of the people among the important elements of confronting threats.
In continuation of this ceremony, Hujjat al-Islam Hadi Mohammadpour recited elegies mentioning the sufferings of Imam Reza (a.s.) and the attendees mourned the martyrdom of the Eighth Imam of the Shia in a spiritual atmosphere.
The widespread presence of various segments of the people at this ceremony was a manifestation of Kish residents' devotion to Hazrat Imam Reza (a.s.) and the Ahl al-`Ismah wa al-Taharah (a.s.) family in the final days of the month of Safar.
