Huawei is preparing to launch a new power bank with a 20,000mAh capacity and support for fast charging up to 100 watts; a product designed to provide a quick charging solution for the company's compatible devices.
This power bank, with model number P0024, has been seen in the China Compulsory Certificate (3C) database. The product's registration in this database indicates that it has completed the necessary steps for certification and is ready for official release.
Huawei's new power bank supports two-way charging via USB-C and the Power Delivery standard and can deliver 100 watts. Thus, in addition to fast charging compatible devices, the power bank's battery can also be recharged at the same power.
Both ports on this device offer a maximum input of 20 volts and 5 amps. Output options also include 5 volts at 4.5 amps, 9 volts at 3 amps, 12 volts at 3 amps, and 20 volts at 5 amps, with a maximum output power reaching 106 watts.
This power bank is equipped with a battery with an operational capacity of 72.52 watt-hours and, in this regard, has a higher capacity than Huawei's recent 12,000mAh power bank, whose operational capacity is 43.66 watt-hours and which supports the UFCS protocol.
Huawei's new product reflects the company's focus on developing high-capacity portable batteries; products that can be used to power high-consumption devices such as laptops, tablets, and smartphones.
Huawei has not yet announced an official release date or price for this power bank, but its registration in the 3C database and completion of certification steps indicate that the official unveiling of this product will likely take place soon.
