According to the Public Relations and International Affairs of the Kish Free Zone Organization, the ceremony commemorating Doctor's Day and Pharmacist's Day was held with the presence of Jaber Mahmoudi, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Specialized and Subspecialized Hospital and Deputy of Management Development of the Kish Free Zone Organization, Dr. Saeed Javedan-Sirat, Director of Kish Hospital, Saman Derikvand, Director of Inspection, Supervision and Complaint Response of the Kish Free Zone Organization, physicians and pharmacists.

In this ceremony, Jaber Mahmoudi, while congratulating Doctor's Day and Pharmacist's Day, appreciated the efforts and valuable services of physicians, pharmacists and health sector staff and stated: The medical community of Kish Hospital has been present alongside the people in various conditions with commitment, responsibility and a spirit of service, and has played an effective role in providing health services.

Pointing to the importance of advancing the health system on Kish Island, he added: the development of treatment infrastructure, provision of required equipment and facilities, and creating suitable conditions for the activity of the medical community are priorities of the management of the Kish Free Zone Organization and the Hospital Board of Trustees.

The Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Kish Hospital, emphasizing the management of the Kish Free Zone Organization's attention to education and treatment, said: Raising the level of health services and providing appropriate medical services to Kish residents are important matters pursued by this body, and necessary actions to strengthen treatment capacities are being followed up.

Mahmoudi also thanked Dr. Saeed Javedan-Sirat, Director of Kish Hospital, and the hospital's management team for pursuing the issues and concerns of the medical community and their efforts to improve the service delivery process to patients.

In continuation of the ceremony, Dr. Saeed Javedan-Sirat, emphasizing the human standing of the medical profession, said: Medicine is not only the science of treatment, but accompanying the patient, creating hope and reducing human suffering are an important part of this path.

He added: Physicians strive for years to gain knowledge and experience, and this knowledge becomes meaningful when it serves human health. Medical decisions, in addition to knowledge and expertise, require responsibility, empathy and attention to the patient's condition.

The Director of Kish Hospital, referring to the importance of human connection in the treatment process, noted: Sometimes a precise examination, a timely decision or a few minutes of listening to the patient's words can have a lasting impact on the course of treatment.

Dr. Javedan-Sirat, stressing the necessity of support for the medical community, said: Caring for the physician and pharmacist is part of caring for the patient; because the calm and support of the healthcare staff provide the grounds for offering better and more effective services to patients.

Referring to the role of new technologies in the health sector, he said: New technologies and tools can help improve diagnostic and treatment processes, but human connection, empathy and the presence of the physician beside the patient still hold an important and irreplaceable place.

In another part of his remarks, the Director of Kish Hospital commemorated the memory of the late Dr. Babak Fath-Abadi and appreciated the valuable services and efforts of this deceased physician during his service. Families of physicians and pharmacists were also thanked for accompanying and supporting members of the medical community.

At the end of the ceremony, the physicians and pharmacists present were honored and thanked with the presentation of flowers.
