According to the Public Relations and International Affairs of the Kish Free Zone Organization, Kabiri said at this meeting, referring to the strategic position of air and sea communications in Kish's economic development: the island's economic life depends on these two important sectors and, despite the conditions and restrictions created by the imposed war, development programs must continue without interruption.
He emphasized the necessity of maintaining focus on development goals and said: even in the current circumstances, activities must continue in accordance with those conditions and based on proper timing. The Kish Ports and Airports Development and Management Company also has a field and operational nature, and care must be taken that daily affairs do not affect the pursuit of primary goals and projects.
The CEO of the Kish Free Zone Organization, while appreciating the performance of the port and airport staff during the war, added: colleagues of this organization prioritized preserving people's lives in sensitive conditions, valuable actions that should be properly recounted.
Kabiri, stressing the continuation of the development path, stated: now the projects underway must be pursued seriously, and if there is a challenge in their implementation, the matter will be pursued at the highest managerial level.
He also expressed relative satisfaction with the management process of port and airport projects and evaluated the presented report positively in terms of compliance with the defined objectives.
The CEO of the Kish Free Zone Organization said: some projects are long-term in nature and may not be completed in the current period, but we have the duty to continue their implementation and follow their progress as much as possible. Alongside these plans, quick-yield projects must also be considered.
The CEO of the Kish Free Zone Organization also, emphasizing the need to change the approach from cost management to revenue and cost management, said: in implementing any action it should be clear with what objective it is carried out and what result it will have for the organization. Part of the actions are performed within the framework of governmental responsibilities, but in other areas economic justification must also be considered. Some port and airport projects should also be regarded as major national economic plans because if a plan lacks economic justification, the necessary ground for private sector entry will not be provided.
In this regard he stressed using public–private partnership capacity in port and airport areas and requested that this be foreseen in the Assembly's resolutions so that, based on relevant regulations, the necessary authorities in these areas can be delegated. Kabiri also, referring to Kish becoming an origin in the seaman's goods scheme with the approval of 96 commodity items, considered this a valuable capacity for sending goods, developing freight transport, and cargo activities.
In continuation of this meeting, Ezzatollah Mohammadi, CEO of the Kish Ports and Airports Development and Management Company, referring to the organization's performance in recent months, said: despite wartime conditions, efforts were made so that the company's ongoing actions and service provision would not be disrupted and that project implementation would continue in line with available facilities and conditions. During the war period, the company's employees did not take leave, did not leave the island, and continued their activities. In the projects sector, efforts were made to maintain the implementation process of the plans, and this path will be pursued more strongly in the coming year.
Mohammadi, referring to the trend of tourists entering the island, said: according to the presented report, statistics indicate about a 40 percent increase in tourists arriving to Kish, and the presence of tourists on the island is the result of collective efforts and actions taken in various sectors.
The CEO of the Kish Ports and Airports Development and Management Company, referring to the role of port services during the war, added: the port sector gained a special position for Kish at this stage and the importance of this sector became more apparent during wartime.
