According to Etna citing GSMArena, these reports indicate Samsung intends to release the Galaxy Z TriFold 2 earlier than originally planned.
This product will be the next generation of Samsung’s first tri-fold phone, and it is expected to have improvements in design and durability compared to the current generation.
It is said the Galaxy Z TriFold2 will be thinner, lighter, and more durable. Despite these changes, Samsung apparently does not intend to raise the price of this product.
The first generation Galaxy Z TriFold was introduced at launch with a price of $2,899 and the new report claims the second generation will be offered with the same price tag.
However, one should not expect a rapid release of this phone.
Based on current information, the Galaxy Z TriFold 2 will not enter the market before 2027. It is also possible Samsung’s first sliding foldable phone will be introduced at the same time as the company’s second-generation tri-fold.
