According to a report published Friday by The New York Times, Anthropic is now on an advancing trajectory that is projected to push its annual revenue past one hundred billion dollars; a figure that represents a 50 percent increase compared to only two months ago.

According to ITNA, the company's growth is accelerating at an almost unbelievable pace, just on the verge of what could become the largest initial public offering (IPO) in history.

Notably, Anthropic did not exist six years ago; but according to the report, by the end of this year it could be listed among the fifty largest U.S. companies by revenue and the ten largest by market value.

The company's current revenue trajectory is more than ten times its position at the end of 2025; growth that has been propelled by widespread corporate adoption of products like Claude Code and Cowork.

As Axios writes, Anthropic is still pursuing its IPO plans, despite recent controversies surrounding AI safety and the rapid development of advanced models.

According to the report, the company's timing is such that its shares will likely hit the market around November.

Meanwhile, Sam Altman, CEO of OpenAI, had previously stated that his lab would not go public this year due to those same safety-related concerns.
