According to the Public Relations and International Affairs of the Kish Free Zone Organization, this drill was held on the evening of Sunday, 5 Mehr 1405 with the presence of Kish residents and tourists, Mohammad Kabiri, CEO of the Kish Free Zone Organization, Hojatoleslam wal-Muslimeen Alireza Biniaz, Friday Prayer Leader of Kish, a number of island officials, and military and law enforcement commanders.

During this drill, various segments of the population displayed a scene of popular solidarity and cohesion by attending and participating in the program. The movement segment of the drill also began at 21:00 from Pardis Junction and continued along the route leading to Sahel Square.

On the two hundred and eleventh night of the nightly gathering of Iran’s Devotees at Sahel Square, Sardar Sadeghi, one of the commanders from the Sacred Defense era, delivered a speech and there was also a narration of the Sacred Defense.

Sardar Sadeghi, referring to the difficulties and harsh events of the wartime period, said: at certain stages, events and incidents were so severe that some people were put under pressure and became doubtful, but these scenes were a field of test and trial for believers so that it would become clear who could emerge proud from these tests.

He considered the Ashura movement to be the reviver of the pure religion and Islam and added: what is today referred to as the nation of Imam Hussain (a.s.) stems from this sacred movement. Imam Hussain (a.s.) said that whoever wishes to accompany this path must be prepared to endure hardships and the sharpness of swords and spears.

Sadeghi described the Islamic Revolution as the fourth sacred movement and said: the fourth movement is the movement of the Appearance, and today you and I have been chosen as active people in this sacred movement.

He stated that presence on this path is not limited to the battlefield and clarified: martyrdom and jihad do not only mean being present on the battlefield and being struck by a bullet or missile; anyone who moves on the divine and sacred path, whether on the battlefield or outside of it, can play a role on this path.

Addressing the attendees, Sadeghi said: you have the honor that within you are the marks of bitter endurance, bearing hardships, being present on fields, and putting your chest forward in the path of the revolution, and this presence and sacrifice is an honor for you.

Emphasizing the importance of continued presence on this path, he stated: that you appear on the scene, play a role, endure hardships, and stand against some anti-values is valuable in the sight of God.

During the continuation of the Devotees’ gathering, simultaneously with the rest of the country, the flag of the Islamic Republic of Iran was raised at Sahel Square in Kish.
