Lucid Motors (LCID) introduced the Gravity GT-S and called it "the most powerful three-row SUV in America" with more than 1,000 horsepower.
According to ITNA, citing Electrek, the Gravity GT-S is essentially a supercar in the form of a three-row SUV. Lucid unveiled its new model on Thursday coinciding with the Monterey Car Week event.
The vehicle is built on the same twin-motor, all-wheel-drive (AWD) powertrain as the initial Gravity Dream Edition model, but the GT-S version produces a total of 1,070 horsepower.
Lucid stated that the Gravity GT-S can accelerate from zero to 60 mph in just 3.1 seconds and is therefore considered "the most powerful three-row SUV in America."
The vehicle is also equipped with Lucid's Dynamic Handling Package. This package adds an independent rear-wheel steering system and a three-chamber adaptive air suspension. The system lowers the vehicle's height at high speeds to provide better control and handling.
The new GT-S also features several new interior and exterior design elements, including blue accents on the exterior and blue brake calipers.
In the cabin, the premium Majave PurLuxe trim is paired with blue stitching and stripes on the first- and second-row seats, blue seat belts, and blue stitching on the steering wheel, door pulls, and center armrest.
As a decorative detail, Lucid's bear logo is also embossed on the front seats and headrests. Buyers can choose Tahoe leather upholstery for an additional $1,300.
The new Gravity GT-S will be released later this year and has a base price of $125,900. Delivery fees will be $1,850. This is about $27,000 more than the Grand Touring version, which has a base price of $98,900. The Gravity GT-S will enter the market in the fourth quarter of 2026.
The vehicle comes standard in Abyss Black with the Stealth Appearance package. Stellar White Metallic, Quantum Grey Metallic, and Supernova Bronze Metallic are also available for an additional $1,000.
The five-seat configuration is standard, while the seven-seat option costs an extra $2,900. The Technology Package, Comfort and Convenience Package, and Surreal Sound Pro audio system are also standard on this vehicle.
European buyers and customers in markets outside the United States cannot order the new Gravity GT-S, as Lucid has stated this model will be offered exclusively in the U.S.
Although the $125,900 price is high, it is still about $42,000 cheaper than the 2026 Cadillac Escalade-V, which starts at $168,000. Additionally, the Gravity GT-S has far greater power and acceleration.
For comparison, the Escalade-V with 682 horsepower can accelerate from zero to 60 mph in 4.4 seconds - more than a second slower than the Lucid Gravity GT-S.
