Masoud Pezeshkian, the President and Head of the Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution, promulgated the single-article "Determination of the Second Phase of the Organization of Public Higher Education Institutions Affiliated with the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology" for implementation.
According to ITna from the website of the Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution, Masoud Pezeshkian, the President and Head of the Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution, promulgated the single-article "Determination of the Second Phase of the Organization of Public Higher Education Institutions Affiliated with the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology" which was approved in Tir 1405 in this council for implementation.
According to this resolution, a number of public higher education institutions will be organized by being attached to larger universities.
The names of these institutions and their order of attachment are as follows:
1- Attachment of Gonabad Higher Education Complex and the Faculty of Agriculture and Animal Husbandry of Torbat Jam to Ferdowsi University of Mashhad
2- Attachment of Kashmar Higher Education Center to Hakim Sabzevari University
3- Attachment of Mahallat Higher Education Center to Arak University of Technology
4- Attachment of Bam Higher Education Complex to Shahid Bahonar University of Kerman
5- Attachment of Garmsar Faculty of Engineering to Semnan University
6- Attachment of Bozorgmehr University of Qaenat to the University of Birjand
7- Attachment of Seyed Jamaluddin Asadabadi University to Bu-Ali Sina University
8- Attachment of Esfarayen Technical and Engineering Higher Education Complex to the University of Bojnord
9- Attachment of Amol University of Specialized New Technologies to University of Mazandaran
10- Attachment of Bouin Zahra Technical and Engineering Higher Education Center to Imam Khomeini International University
11- Attachment of Eqlid Higher Education Center, Lar Higher Education Center and Salman Farsi University of Kazeroon to Shiraz University
Also in accordance with this resolution, the Ministry of Science must, within 6 months, present an evaluation and organization model for higher education institutions of the various sub-systems to the Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution for approval.
The Islamic Azad University has also been obliged to, within 6 months, prepare and submit for approval an evaluation and organization model for its units based on the Higher Education Planning Document.
In another part of this resolution, all executive bodies have been required, in cooperation with the Ministry of Science and the Administrative and Employment Organization, to identify human resource needs in various academic disciplines during a development program and provide them to the Ministry of Science for policy-making regarding the organization and mission orientation of higher education.
