Ehsan Yeganeh, artist and inventor of the Qattashi artistic method, has exhibited a collection of his works at the Quiet of Memory exhibition in Saadi Cultural Center on Kish Island.
According to the Public Relations of the Kish Free Zone Organization, this exhibition was held at Saadi Cultural Center in Kish with the aim of introducing some of the artist’s works, and a total of 16 works by Ehsan Yeganeh were displayed there.
Qattashi is an inventive, hybrid method of the arts of qattai (cutting), painting, relief work, and calligraphy, which emerged from the fusion of two traditional arts: qattai (paper cutting) and painting or calligraphy.
Yeganeh, regarding his view of his works and the feeling behind their creation, believes that his artistic world rests more on his personal feeling and inner experience than on explanation and justification.
In this view, once an artwork is completed and finished it separates from the artist, and it is the viewer who, by standing before it, can experience their own personal feeling and interpretation.
The Quiet of Memory exhibition runs from 9 to 31 Shahrivar, every day from 17:00 to 21:00 on Kish Island, Saadi Cultural Center, Master Farshchian Gallery, hosting art enthusiasts and audiences.
This exhibition is an opportunity for art lovers to become better acquainted with the inventive Qattashi method.
