The Public Relations of the Kish Free Zone Organization reported that the CEO of the organization, referring to the necessity of supporting household livelihoods and groups that have faced increased economic pressures in recent months, said: with the follow-ups carried out and coordination with the banking network, the capacity for monthly disbursement of two thousand interest-free loan facilities of 50 million tomans each has been anticipated by year-end and the payment of these facilities will begin this month.
He added: in the first phase, drivers active in the public transport fleet including taxi and van drivers, island natives, those currently using unemployment insurance, and vulnerable and underprivileged groups will benefit from these interest-free loans by the end of the current month.
The CEO of the Kish Free Zone Organization recalled: this plan has been designed with the aim of targeted support for households and various groups of the Kish community and to reduce part of the livelihood pressures, and in the coming months, according to the determined priorities, its scope of beneficiaries will be expanded.
Kabiri also, emphasizing the non‑in‑person nature of the process to receive these interest‑free loans, said: efforts have been made to keep the implementation mechanism of this plan as simple, fast and without creating unnecessary commutes and administrative procedures for the public as possible, and beneficiaries of this plan do not need to visit the Kish Free Zone Organization, the bank or other authorities in person. The names of eligible individuals will be gradually introduced to Bank Qarz al‑Hasaneh Mehr Iran based on the priorities set by the organization and after the related processes are completed, the loans will be activated for them within the Qubank software platform.
Kabiri noted: the process of introducing beneficiaries and the method of submitting applications has been designed so that while facilitating and accelerating loan payments, priority is given to those who, due to economic conditions and reduced income, have a greater need for support.
He stated that the payment of these interest‑free loans is only one of the support programs of the Kish Free Zone Organization and said: alongside livelihood support for households, special support packages have also been designed to back industries, economic actors and island businesses, which have been finalized and will gradually enter the implementation phase over the coming weeks.
The CEO of the Kish Free Zone Organization added: our goal in designing this set is to implement supportive policies, help people's livelihoods and ensure the continuity of business activities; because preserving employment, the resilience of economic enterprises and strengthening household purchasing power must be pursued together.
Kabiri, outlining other supportive measures taken to preserve business stability and expressing appreciation to the managers and officials of the Tax Administration, said: in the past six months, with the aim of reducing pressure on businesses and helping preserve employment and the continuation of enterprises' activities, the tax obligations and payments of economic actors have been deferred with the accompaniment and cooperation of the Tax Administration, which was a valuable action in these conditions to support Kish island businesses.
He added: in the field of social security as well, in the new management period, a positive and cooperative approach has formed regarding the issues and problems of economic actors, and we hope that with the continuation of this interaction and cooperation of the managers of the Social Security Organization, we can take further steps in reducing insurance pressures and more effectively supporting enterprises and the workforce.
