Owners of vehicles with Kish Free Zone plates who request conversion of their vehicle's plate to the national plate are hereby informed that the order registration process and related actions have been implemented in the system and the files are at the stage of vehicle valuation for payment of the related duties.
In this regard and with reference to Note to Article 12 of the Law on Regulation of the Automobile Industry: “The value of construction machinery and vehicles whose import into the country is permitted (whether new or used), each year after review of available documents, including manufacturers’ prices and/or principal dealerships’ prices in third countries and/or market prices (with respect to used machinery and vehicles) shall be determined by the Ministry of Industry, Mine,” applicants are required to fully complete the attached table and submit it along with the related documents to the Organization’s Customs Management so that necessary actions can be taken to refer them to the competent authorities for determination of the vehicle value.
It is obvious that the responsibility for the accuracy, validity and completeness of the information and documents provided lies with the applicant, and the review and determination of the vehicle value will be conducted based on the submitted documents.
