According to the Public Relations and International Affairs of the Kish Free Zone Organization, Alireza Monadi Sefidan on Saturday, 28 Shahrivar, at the opening ceremony of Behkish School, referring to the importance of developing educational spaces, stated: establishing a new school under current conditions and despite limitations demonstrates the continuation of the path of knowledge and education and attention to the future of coming generations.
He emphasized that school-building is an investment for the future of society and said: conditions must be provided so that the next generation is stronger and more pioneering than the previous generation scientifically, socially and culturally, and schools play a fundamental role in realizing this goal.
Education; the axis of building the society's future
Referring to more than four decades of his activity in the field of education, Monadi added: years of experience in education have made it clear to me that no factor can affect the construction of society and its future as much as education can, and for this reason education must be at the top of priorities.
He continued: education is not limited to transferring curricular content and the school must provide the ground for identifying and nurturing talents, enhancing scientific capabilities and strengthening students' social and cultural responsibility.
The Chairman of the Education, Research and Technology Committee of Parliament, referring to the historical position of science and knowledge in Iran, said: centers such as Jundishapur in Khuzestan and Rabe Rashidi in Tabriz are examples of the long-standing background of science and education in Iranian civilization and show that knowledge and school-building have deep roots in the culture of this land.
Education; a facilitator of culture and social behavior
Monadi, referring to the impact of education on forming social behaviors, said: traffic culture in Kish is an example of the impact of continuous education on public behaviors and shows that many desirable social behaviors can be converted into public culture through education.
He added: all institutions and managers must feel responsible for the field of education; because doctors, engineers, managers and other specialists of society begin their path of growth and capability from school and the development of any society depends on the quality of its education.
Monadi, appreciating the approach of Mohammad Kabiri, CEO of the Kish Free Zone Organization, in the field of education, said: the organization's management view toward this field indicates a correct understanding of the importance and position of education in the island's development and serious attention to education can also strengthen many cultural and social areas.
He added: when education is properly carried out and institutionalized in society, its effects will appear in various sectors and the attention of the Kish Free Zone management to this issue is a valuable action in the path of the island's development.
The Chairman of the Education, Research and Technology Committee of Parliament also considered the participation of the private sector and philanthropists in developing educational spaces valuable and said: the construction of Behkish School shows that using this capacity can help increase the quality and per capita educational spaces of the island.
In conclusion, Monadi, referring to the issues raised about Kish education, said: I will follow up matters related to supplying new human resources, housing for educators and the equipment needed by Kish schools through Parliament and responsible agencies and we will strive that these follow-ups lead to practical and effective results.
