According to the Public Relations and International Affairs of the Kish Free Zone Organization, these competitions were held with the participation of nearly 500 contestants from 45 cities across the country, and Kish representatives secured top results in various categories, claiming the team championship of this edition.
In the individual section, all 25 Kish participants placed among the top 10 of their categories and earned quotas to participate in the 2026 Abacus World Olympiad.
In the coaches section, Maryam Akbarpour, coach of the Kish team, ranked first among more than 100 participating coaches and was named the country’s top coach for the fifth consecutive time.
According to the announced results, Raha Ghorbani, Niusha Jalali, Setayesh Jalali, Nika Jalali, Amirali SoltaniNejad, Ilya SoltaniNejad, Nelia PourBahman, Reyhaneh Nejati, Seyedeh Arshida Joudi and Raha Jahadi obtained first place in their categories.
Also, Pouria Ramazani, Hanieh Zarei, Elahe Ranjbar, Pouria Abadeh and SeyedSam Mousavi achieved second place; Arsin Aghnami, Mohsen Salami, Abolfazl Zamani, Seyedeh Sedna Kamakli and Amirhossein Marami third place; Khalil Sharifi and Bardia Abadeh fourth place; Mahshid Nikbakht fifth place; Dorsa Karimizadeh sixth place and Diana Bagherinasab ninth place in their categories.
With these results, the Kish abacus team won the team title of the national mental calculation competitions and all members of this team earned the license to participate in the 2026 Abacus World Olympiad.
