According to the Public Relations and International Affairs of the Kish Free Zone Organization, in this meeting Seyyed Shahabeddin Tabatabai referring to the distinct status of the Kish Free Zone said: perceptions of the Kish Free Zone are different compared to other free zones in the country; because Kish, being an island, has no land connection and possesses its own special features and conditions.

He, referring to the sensitive conditions of the country, added: at a time when the country faces war and various pressures, no individual, group, or body should consider themselves separate from others or act in a way that creates distance and division. We are all part of a single entity and must properly fulfill our responsibilities toward the people and the country.

A member of the Government Information Council emphasized: in such conditions, whoever fails to carry out the duty entrusted to them or neglects to do what must be done has not only neglected an individual responsibility, but has betrayed everyone.

Tabatabai also referring to the role of the media and cyberspace activists said: media activity in the current conditions requires greater accuracy, awareness, and responsibility, and every person must be accountable for the effects and consequences of the content they produce or publish.

Seyyed Hossein Ahmadnejad, acting head of Public Relations and International Affairs of the Kish Free Zone Organization, also in this meeting, referring to the importance of the media’s role in protecting Kish’s brand said: any image formed in the audience's mind of Kish Island is the result of the media’s performance, and this indicates the sensitivity of the role of the media and cyberspace in branding and preserving a brand.

He emphasized: all of us media activists are responsible for the image reflected of Kish Island and must strive for the growth and preservation of this brand.

In continuation of this meeting, topics related to protecting Kish’s identity, strengthening the Kish Free Zone’s brand, and the role of the media and cyberspace activists in introducing the capacities and advantages of this region were discussed and reviewed.

Attendees also exchanged views on the necessity of increasing coordination among different sectors, purposeful use of media capacities, and formulating a cohesive approach for representing Kish’s identity and brand.

This meeting was held at the Kish International Conferences with the presence of Seyyed Shahabeddin Tabatabai, member of the Government Information Council; Seyyed Hossein Ahmadnejad, acting head of Public Relations and International Affairs of the Kish Free Zone Organization; a number of managers of this organization; cyberspace activists; and Kish media professionals.
