According to the Public Relations and International Affairs of the Kish Free Zone Organization, as part of the ongoing plans to safeguard consumer rights, organize the market and supervise the activities of commercial units, field visits by regulatory and executive bodies to commercial units on Kish Island were carried out on Wednesday, 14 Mordad.

These visits were a continuation of the current market monitoring process and were conducted to review the prices of essential goods, compliance with trade rules and regulations, the possession of legal permits by units, and to address public complaints.

During this field visit, the performance of commercial units was examined in terms of how goods and services were offered, pricing, compliance with regulations and the status of operating licenses, and two commercial units were sealed until legal permits were obtained and the reported issues were resolved due to lack of necessary permits and multiple complaints.

Sadegh Davaei, deputy and special representative of the Kish Prosecutor in trade inspection matters, said on the sidelines of this visit: it was decided that field supervision regarding prices and other legal permits of commercial units be put on the agenda and, by order of the honorable prosecutor, I was appointed as the supervision representative on this matter.

Referring to the visits carried out, he added: given the positive feedback received from island residents, special attention to the prices of essential goods was emphasized, and this matter led to this part of the supervision being pursued with greater focus.

Davaei continued: in this regard, meetings were held and I must thank the cooperation of the Kish Free Zone Organization, the merchants' community and also the Police Places Administration for their accompaniment and necessary cooperation so that we could properly carry out our supervisory duty.

Sadegh Davaei, deputy and special representative of the Kish Prosecutor in trade inspection matters, emphasized: field supervision of the performance of commercial units, prices of essential goods, compliance with legal regulations, the status of permits and handling public complaints will continue seriously with the aim of protecting the rights of Kish residents, tourists and consumers.

These supervisory patrols, aimed at organizing the market, improving service quality, preventing trade violations and preventing the infringement of consumers' rights, are pursued within the framework of ongoing Kish market monitoring programs.
