According to the Public Relations and International Affairs of the Kish Free Zone Organization, continuing the supervisory visits of the Organization’s Commerce Directorate to businesses and service centers, a joint inspection patrol composed of the deputy and the special representative of the prosecutor, the Organization’s Commerce Directorate, Kish Health Center and the Police of Premises was carried out with the aim of protecting consumers’ rights and preserving public health.
In this phase of field inspections, which focused on the Nobonyad and Sarv Hasht areas, the condition of goods offering and compliance with trade and health regulations in several commercial units were examined closely.
The deputy prosecutor, on the sidelines of these visits, emphasized firm action against violators and said: public health and observance of citizens’ rights are red lines for the Prosecutor’s Office and the Kish Free Zone Organization, and we will show no leniency toward violators who play with people’s health.
He further reported unannounced inspections of vehicle service units located in Zone 28 warehouses and added: in the conducted reviews, legal warnings were issued to a number of repair shops, tire shops and mechanics operating without licenses. These commercial units were required to complete administrative procedures and obtain economic activity permits within a maximum period of one week, otherwise, they will be dealt with firmly in accordance with the law.
The Commerce Directorate of the Kish Free Zone Organization concluded by inviting respected shopkeepers to observe trade and health regulations, and asked citizens and honored tourists to report any trade or health violations for prompt follow-up via the 124 system.
