Poco is preparing a new phone called “Poco X8 Power”; a product that, according to recent leaked information, is expected to be equipped with a very high-capacity 10,000 mAh battery.
According to one leaker, Poco may unveil this phone soon. It is said that the X8 Power will be a rebranded version of the “Redmi Note 17 Pro Max”; a product that is expected to be introduced next week. If this information is correct, the two phones will be very similar in terms of specifications and design.
According to published information, the Poco X8 Power will be equipped with a 6.83-inch AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate. This display is also protected by Gorilla Glass Victus 2. It is said the new Poco phone will have an IP69 rating for water and dust resistance and its thickness will be about 8.68 mm.
On the hardware side, the Poco X8 Power is likely to use a Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 processor alongside LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 internal storage. It is also said that Poco will provide four years of OS updates and six years of security updates for this phone.
On the camera side, this phone will likely be equipped with a 50 MP main camera on the rear panel accompanied by an 8 MP ultrawide camera. For the selfie and video calls, a 32 MP camera has also been considered.
If the leaked information is accurate, the Poco X8 Power could become a notable option among phones equipped with ultra-large batteries. The combination of a 10,000 mAh battery with a high-resolution AMOLED display and 120 Hz refresh rate, new memories and long-term software support are among the features that distinguish this phone.
