Tak Badgir Complex

This house is located on the west side of Kish Island, in one of the native and old neighborhoods formerly called “Shabbiyeh”; its construction took place at the same time as the relocation of the residents of Masheh village to the west of the island and the creation of the new Safin area, and it belonged to Ebrahim Saeedi Kishi, one of Kish’s noted merchants. The total area of the building is 425 square meters and includes 13 rooms; 6 inner rooms and 7 outer rooms. The inner rooms include the Museum Room, the Hajleh (Bridal) Room, the Henna Design Room, the Leaders’ Room, the School Room (Beit al-Zahra) and the Matbakh (kitchen). The complex contains a traditional bazaar for offering and selling souvenirs, handicrafts, clothing and local items, and there is also a local restaurant provided for serving various local dishes.
