Referring to the President's special attention to the southern islands of the country, he added: the President has a special view toward Kish Island and emphasizes providing the necessary authorities and capacities for effective management and the advancement of the region's development programs.

10-year plan; the roadmap for development and investment in Kish

Nouri, referring to the development plan presented by the management of the Kish Free Zone Organization, said: a 10-year plan has been drafted for the development of the island that strengthens the grounds for growth and increased investment in Kish and, based on the envisaged goals, this island will be on the path to becoming an intelligent, commercial and technological center.

He added: the flourishing of Kish's capacities can show its effects beyond the island's boundaries and while strengthening the regional economy, also play a role in the development and flourishing of the country's economy.

The Assistant to the President for Follow-up of Special Plans, referring to meetings with merchants and private sector investors, examination of investment capacities, visits to production complexes and conversations with local Kish residents, stated: the set of programs designed for the island has provided the necessary grounds for the continuation of Kish's economic, cultural and social growth and it is expected that in the coming years we will witness an increased acceleration of this trend.

Development of infrastructure and international branding of Kish

Nouri cited infrastructure development as one of the important axes of actions taken in Kish and added: planning to provide housing for locals and Kish residents, drafting the 10-year roadmap, developing investment, strengthening infrastructures and serious attention to branding Kish at the national and international levels are among the measures that can strengthen the island's future development path.

He, while appreciating Mohammad Kabiri, CEO of the Kish Free Zone Organization, and the organization's managers, considered planning one of the prominent elements of the island's management and said: sustainable development is not possible without a precise and coherent plan and in Kish, specific planning has been done to achieve development goals.

The Assistant to the President also described coordination between the management body, the private sector and other active sectors in Kish as one of the island's significant capacities and added: synergy among various sectors, alongside constructive interaction between the local community and the management body, has provided a suitable basis for implementing the planned programs and realizing Kish's development goals.

Nouri also paid attention to the development-oriented outlook of the people, economic activists and island managers and stated: in the conversations held, the main concern of the attendees was the future and pride of Kish and this collective outlook is considered one of the valuable social and cultural capacities of the island for advancing development programs.

Technological productions; a capacity for Kish's international brand

Referring to visits to the island's production complexes, Nouri said: significant productions have formed in Kish and especially some technological and high-tech products have the necessary capacity to become part of Kish's international brand.

He added: the existing capacities in production and technology, along with the development of investment and infrastructure, can elevate Kish's economic and technological position at the regional level.

The Assistant to the President for Follow-up of Special Plans also, referring to issues raised by managers and economic activists in the fields of information technology, transportation, airport and other infrastructures needed for the island's development, emphasized that these matters will be pursued through the related agencies.

He considered the continuous presence of people and economic activists in Kish over recent months valuable and added: the government also has the follow-up of issues raised by the region's management, the people, investors and locals on its agenda so that by strengthening existing foundations, the island's economic, social, welfare and cultural growth continues with greater momentum.

Kabiri: Direct examination of Kish's capacities paves the way for government support decisions

Mohammad Kabiri, CEO of the Kish Free Zone Organization, also appreciating the presence of the Assistant to the President on the island, said: this trip was made with the aim of directly and without intermediary examining Kish's conditions and issues related to locals, Kish residents and businesses active on the island and the government's follow-up in this regard will continue.

He added: just as after the 12-day imposed war, Kish quickly returned to prosperity, we are confident that with the government's support, the island's activity and development will continue strongly once again.

The CEO of the Kish Free Zone Organization, referring to the necessity of aligning national decisions with local management actions, stated: regional and local managers pursue programs related to the island's prosperity and development with all their capacity and completing this path requires accompaniment and support at the government level. The knowledge gained from this trip can also provide grounds for more precise examination of legal solutions and making necessary decisions.

Kabiri continued: the government has measures on its agenda to support the island's economic activities and facilitating the exit of goods from the Kish Free Zone and encouraging tourists' presence on the island are among the axes being followed. It is also expected that an important step in continuation of this path will be taken next week.

Commissioning of more than 70 trillion tomans of projects by Kish Day

Referring to upcoming investment programs, Kabiri said: from Government Week until 20 Aban, Kish Day, more than 70 thousand billion tomans of projects will be commissioned, and this volume of investment indicates investors' determination to continue their presence and participation in Kish's development path.

He added: in addition, roughly the same amount of new plans and projects whose investment contracts have been concluded will enter the implementation and groundbreaking phase.

The CEO of the Kish Free Zone Organization emphasized: Kish's development path, relying on the capacity of investors, the region management's planning and the government's support, will continue with speed and stability.
