According to the Public Relations and International Affairs of the Kish Free Zone Organization, in the sixteenth session of "Responsive Sundays" Hossein Hemmati, outlining the legal actions taken to protect public assets and the government's rights in national lands, said: with the approach and emphasis of the CEO of the Kish Free Zone Organization on removing obstacles and finalizing long-standing files, in cases where contractual obligations of some parties were not fulfilled and issues could not be resolved through negotiation and dialogue, legal actions including filing lawsuits, removing encumbrances and other legal methods were taken to finalize the files.

He stated: more than 400 hectares of the region's lands have been finalized within nearly 60 legal cases and these cases have been concluded with a very high success rate.

The Director of Legal, Contracts and Properties of the Kish Free Zone Organization continued: these lands will be returned to investors so that the groundwork for implementing new projects and creating a fundamental transformation in the region will be provided.

Removing obstacles to long-standing projects

Hemmati also, referring to the process of removing obstacles and finalizing long-standing projects, said: a significant number of the island's major projects that had remained unresolved over past years due to legal, executive and technical complexities have been finalized in this period and have returned to operation.

He added: the contracts of these projects have been amended where necessary and their related legal actions have been undertaken. This process was pursued collectively and centered on the Deputy of Development Affairs within the framework of the Commission for Removing Obstacles with the participation of various departments of the organization.

Announcement of new processes for organizing ownership documents

Hemmati went on to refer to the organization's upcoming plans in the field of ownership documents and properties and said: next year, in the area of ownership documents, organizing people’s properties and transfer processes, in cooperation with the private sector, government agencies and the Judiciary, an important transformation will be created.

He added: in line with implementing the law obliging the official registration of immovable property transactions, the new processes related to ownership documents will be announced to citizens via notices and advertisements within the next month or two.

The Director of Legal, Contracts and Properties of the Kish Free Zone Organization also announced plans to create a centralized contracts system for the organization and said: this system will be created with the aim of increasing transparency in the region's contracts and also accelerating and improving the process of drafting contracts between the organization and individuals.

Emphasis on legal consultation before transactions

The Director of Legal, Contracts and Properties of the Kish Free Zone Organization, referring to issues raised by Kish residents in this session, emphasized the necessity of obtaining legal consultation before conducting transactions.

Hemmati said: citizens on matters such as buying and selling properties, transactions, financial transactions and drafting contracts should consult with qualified legal advisors and reliable and expert individuals and, before entering into a transaction, verify the facts and its legal framework.

He added: given the economic conditions and the possibility of complex disputes and potential abuses, observing legal requirements in transactions is of special importance and the organization's legal management is prepared, to the extent of providing consultation and solutions without intervening in transactions, to assist citizens.

Hemmati: "Responsive Sundays" strengthens direct communication between people and managers

The Director of Legal, Contracts and Properties of the Kish Free Zone Organization emphasized: the issues raised by Kish residents will be followed up and we will strive to carry out effective and prompt follow-up where matters are actionable.

Hemmati concluded by asking citizens to convey their constructive criticisms and viewpoints about the performance of the legal management to the organization's Public Relations so that these viewpoints can be used to improve processes and provide better services to the people.

It is noteworthy that the Kish Free Zone Organization's "Responsive Sundays" initiative, aimed at strengthening direct communication between managers and the public, increasing transparency and accelerating the handling of Kish residents' demands, is continuously held through the 124 system.
